Operation Xcel works to increase academic, social, and career skills for students in our community and to provide parenting, advocacy, and technological literacy workshops for adults. We are committed to honesty and integrity. We are guided by a strong work ethic, and by compassion and commitment to those who serve with us and to those whom we serve. Through our academic and enrichment programs, we are committed to providing equal access to quality educational resources, to supporting diversity of thought, and to creating a strong foundation for the development of long-term career goals and civic participation.

Description

Operation Homework: "Equipping Socially, Emotionally and Academically"

Operation Homework seeks to transform the lives of area students by providing them with the support needed to develop strong academic and social skills. We work to empower students to become responsible citizens prepared to succeed in higher education, careers, and in service to the community.

Operation Saturday Academy: "REAL, RELEVANT, ENGAGING"

Operation Saturday Academy offers enriching experiences, which connect real world activities to the subject matter that students are learning in school. Our goal is to compliment academic work and to foster a 'love for learning,’ providing youth with the skills and confidence needed to become productive, forward-thinking creators of their own destiny. We envision these youth maturing to become contributors to the social and economic vitality of their communities.

Operation 3 Steps Ahead Summer Learning: "MAXIMIZING EXCELLENCE"

Our purpose is to engage students in enrichment activities that advance their skills and understanding in the areas of reading and writing, math and science. We also strive to provide students with opportunities to develop character, learn valuable life skills, make new friends, and discover new interests.
