The Friends of West Florida Public Library, Inc. are holding a 3 day Fall book sale. We need help setting up the sale, working the sale, keeping the books straight during the sale, and packing up the left over books once the sale is over. Get your community service hours and support your library.
Volunteer shifts are available
Thursday, September 23rd from 9am-3pm for setting up the sale.
Friday, September 24th from 9am-3pm for setting up the sale. 3pm-7pm working the sale.
Saturday, September 25th from 9am - 5pm working the sale.
Sunday, September 26th from 9am -3pm working the sale. 3pm - 5pm cleaning up after the sale.
It would be wonderful if you could commit to a 2 hour shift or longer if you are available. All of our proceeds are used to support your local library.

The mission of the Friends of WFPL is to advocate for literacy and learning by expanding and fostering the availability of resources for the West Florida Public Library and other community initiatives.
Description
The Friends of WFPL is a non-profit 501(c)(3). The organization was founded in 1973, and is made up of volunteers whose primary purpose is to support the mission of the West Florida Public Library System and to help enhance its services to the community. Over the past 50 years, the Friends have raised more than $2 million to build new library locations and support children’s summer reading programs, adult learning and many other activities and events that create a stronger community.
