Calling all Night Owls and those with availability on weekends. Volunteers are needed at our USO Northwest Sea-Tac Airport Center. We need Volunteers for our Fri-Sat-Sun and overnight shifts to help on our busy Flight Nights when our military and their families are getting ready to board flights for their new duty stations in the Pacific region. We are located on the Mezzanine level of the Main Terminal, before security. Here are the shifts where we specifically need Volunteers.

Sun: Midnight - 4 am (Saturday Night)

Tue: 8pm - Midnight

Thurs: Midnight - 4 am (Wednesday Night), 8pm-Midnight

Fri: 8pm - Midnight

Sat: 4pm-8pm, 8pm-Midnight

Free parking is provided at the airport general terminal parking, adjacent to the main terminal.

To serve the special needs of Armed Forces personnel and their families as they transit the airport facilities of Sea-Tac International and McChord Air Force Base. To provide services, free of charge, in a safe, comfortable and supportive environment. To express the appreciation of a grateful nation to its sons and daughters who daily face harm and hardship so we may live in peace.

Description

Volunteers provide "a home away from home" for military personnel and their families. The Admiral James S. Russell USO Center is open 24 hours a day and is located on the 2nd floor at the Sea-Tac International Airport. The center offers food, beverages, television, books, e-mail access, sleeping facilities, showers, toiletries, cribs and infant supplies, and information for traveling military and their families. The McChord Air Force Base USO Center provides similar services 12 hours each day.
