ORGANIZATION: Berkeley Humane

Feline Friend volunteers partner with staff to provide total care for Berkeley Humane cats and kittens. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Feeding
  • Cleaning cages and other supplies
  • Laundry
  • Socializing
  • Grooming
Volunteer shifts are 2 hours long and typically begin at 8am, 12pm, and 3pm.

Orientation and training is required. All volunteers are required to commit to a minimum of 8 hours per month for 6 months (1 shift per week).

Please note that most weekend Feline Friend shifts are already full.

Our vision is to be an innovative leader in animal welfare and to provide critical resources to our community, leading the way with best practices in animal care to reduce the number of homeless animals in our community and beyond.

Berkeley Humane is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that does not receive funding from national groups or the government. We are supported by individual contributions, events, program fees, and corporate and foundation grants, and are not run or supported by any national or regional entity.
