We are looking for a volunteer(s) to assist Mon to Fri from 7:30 am to 9:30 am (approximately). Duties include feeding, checking water buckets, turnout/in, and stall cleaning as needed.

We are open to any day(s) you can commit to if not all 5.

No horse experience is necessary. We will teach you how to work safely around the horses. Kids under 18 are welcome to volunteer but must be accompanied by an adult.

This opportunity requires, lifting, bending, repeative motion and pushing. Some equipment operation such as running a bobcat might be taught after some time.

Please reply with timeframe, evenings, weekends, or day time, that you are interested in volunteering for.

We hold 3 trainings per month, each is 1 hour. Dec and Jan, trainings one on one with no specific date. You can sign up on our facebook page also. https://www.facebook.com/Pffarms/events

Additionally, the foundation is committed to bring equine educational and therapeutic opportunities to low-income families, under privileged and/or at-risk youth, and United States Military Veterans and their families to create an atmosphere for long term skills and lifelong success

Description

We retrain and rehome rescued horses. Some become part of our riding lesson program.

We provide equine opportunitites to low income and at risk youth through donations, grants and a scholarship fund.
