Fundraising Committee Volunteer

As a member of the DuPage Animal Friends Fundraising Committee, you will help us determine and achieve our fundraising goals to support the organization’s various initiatives.

• Contribute ideas for fundraising activities
• Help develop an annual fundraising plan
• Recruit volunteers for fundraising initiatives
• Attend and support fundraising activities
• Approach appropriate businesses to solicit sponsorship, in-kind donations or financial support

Time Commitment

• Attendance at committee meetings, approximately 2-3 meetings per year
• Attendance at fundraising events, plus preparation time
• Time commitment outside committee meetings and events will vary based on tasks
• One-year commitment

Qualifications

• Experience in business, non-profit fundraising and event management helpful
• Excellent communication skills
• Passion for volunteering in an animal welfare environment
