JOIN HUDSON RIVER PARK’S HRPGreenTeam
Gain meaningful experience working with like-minded individuals looking to beautify and maintain Hudson River Park’s picturesque waterside landscape!
This volunteer program is an exciting opportunity for community members to nurture their inner green thumb alongside their neighbors while improving public green space. Members of the HRPGreenTeam will work with our seasoned horticulture staff and participate in landscape enhancement activities including planting, weeding, pruning, mulching, trimming of ornamental grasses, addition of soil amendments, cleaning of vegetation beds, and other general gardening tasks.
When: One Saturday of every month from March-October; 10AM-1PM

What we provide: Safety and horticulture training, tools and equipment, Hudson River Park Volunteer T-Shirt, water, snacks, FUN!

Locations and activities will vary each month, and volunteers will get to experience the Park from a whole new perspective throughout the seasons.
