Join the front desk volunteer team at Crisis Control Ministry!
This is a great opportunity if you are looking to understand the needs of the community. You'll hear firsthand from neighbors requesting financial, food, and prescription medication assistance. You'll explain Crisis Control Ministry's interview process and help them get registered for an interview.
The front desk receptionist directs phone calls to appropriate staff, provides general information, registers neighbors for interviews, and admits clients to the pantry and pharmacy. Must have excellent customer service skills and can handle a high call volume. Ability to multi-task preferred.
Available Openings:
Weekly, 3-hour volunteer commitment for at least 3 months.
- Wednesday afternoon from 1-4 p.m.
Training:
An experienced front desk administrator volunteer trains new volunteers. The Assistant Director of Client Services will also provide ongoing training and support.
