Help an adult achieve their dream of earning their GED. Meet in-person or online, around your schedule. Provide individual tutoring to a student in basic English reading and writing, or basic math. We will provide free tutor training and ongoing support. Make a difference and have fun while doing it!

Description
Project CARE (Community Adult Reading Experience) is Morton College’s volunteer adult literacy program. We use trained literacy tutors to teach adult students seeking assistance with reading and writing, and/or adults who are learning English as a Second Language. Tutoring services are FREE and are available to all eligible students. Project CARE was founded in 1986 and is grant funded by the Illinois Secretary of State.
We serve the communities of Berwyn, Cicero, Stickney, Lyons, Forest View, McCook, and the surrounding areas, including Chicago.
