Volunteers needed for the Friend’s Bookstore The Friends of the Central Library are seeking volunteers to work in the Friends Book Store. We are looking for people who can work 2-4 hours weekly or monthly . We have an opening for the time periods: everyday 11:00-3:00 or later if we get enough volunteers.Job Description Greeting: Greet people as the they enter the book room and orient them to the collection. Shelving books that are misplaced or stocking areas that need to be replenished. Totaling book purchases as people leave the sale. Check out: Take money and give change and deposit final sales money for the day Tidy up sale before and after the book sale shift. Contact: Contact sdfocl@gmail, if interested. Completed application form to be mailed or dropped off at the book store which is preferable. Applications can also be sent to sdfocl@gmail.com. Please send an email verifying that the completed forms have been delivered and ready for review. After review of anapplication an interview will be set up.
The Friends of the Library is a non-profit corporation entirely volunteers supported.
