Nothing says "hospitality" like a home-cooked meal prepared by people who truly care. Help ease the stress and financial burden for families in medical crisis by preparing meals.

Meals can be prepared either in your home or on site in our Day Room kitchen. If the meal is prepared at your home, you may choose to drop it off for staff to deliver to the families, or you can deliver it yourself.

Please note: Meals of Love volunteers are responsible for purchasing and preparing the meal on their scheduled day for an average of 25-30 people. Excellent group volunteer opportunity.

Signing up to provide a Meal of Love is a great way to get your family, friends, co-workers, or a church group involved with you. You may choose to sign up weekly, monthly, quarterly, just whenever is convenient for your schedule.

If you love to cook or want a great and flexible group volunteer activity, ask us about joining the Meals of Love team!

Mission Statement

Hospitality House of Tulsa is a non-profit organization that provides family-centered, home-like lodging and support services to families and their loved ones who are receiving medical treatment far from their home communities. We provide a 'home away from home" for approximately 1,000 families each year.

Description

Since its founding in 2006, Hospitality House of Tulsa has served over 4,780 families traveling to Tulsa for critical medical care. By providing home-like lodging, meals, prayer support, transportation assistance, and other support services, Hospitality House helps families that would otherwise be sleeping in a waiting room chair or their vehicle while their loved one is in the hospital. With 13 family suites located at 1135 S. Victor Ave. serving all 14 Tulsa-area hospitals, Hospitality House is dedicated to providing a 'home away from home' for families traveling in medical crisis.
