The Adult Literacy League provides one-to-one tutoring for adult learners with the hope of improving literacy rates in Central Florida. We serve those interested in improving their reading, writing, and basic literacy skills, as well as English Language Learners.

The League is always in need of new tutors to help us tackle literacy issues in Central Florida! One in every five Central Florida adult reads at or below the 5th grade level! If you can read, you can teach someone to read!

Tutors typically meet their students virtually, at libraries around the tri-county area (Orange, Osceola, Seminole), or at other public meeting spots, like coffee shops.

If you’re interested, please contact Bronwen Jurado at bjurado@adultliteracyleague.org or 407-422-1540. Check out our website for more information, www.adultliteracyleague.org.
