BOARD TREASURER POSITION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
The following duties are typical of those performed or delegated by the individual in this position; however, this individual may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed will be performed by each individual in this position.

· Attend all Executive and General Board of Directors meetings

· Review & present Profit/Loss statement and Balance Sheet for each Board meeting

· Participate in meetings as a voting member

· Work with the bookkeeper reviewing Quickbooks monthly

· Ensure all other financial filings required for a non-profit

· Annual budget preparation and updates

· Review Chart of Accounts as required

· Perform administrative tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

· Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Good planning and organization skills

· Basic proficiency in Quickbooks preferred

· Basic understanding of government nonprofit financial reporting requirements

· Basic proficiency in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL, Email, cell phone usage
