Neighbor to Neighbor (Faith in Action-Washburn County) provides programs for seniors and adults with disabilities to live independently in their home with help from volunteers.
Can you spare an hour once or twice a month to brighten someone's day?
From sharing a cup of coffee and conversation, delivering food, to driving an aging fisherman to his favorite hole, there are countless ways to become involved.
As a volunteer, you decide when, where and whom you're able to help. We meet with you to see if Neighbor to Neighbor is a good fit for both the agency and volunteer. We offer on going support to our volunteers and remain in contact so that we can be aware of any changes in your life that affect your ability to volunteer.
Do you have a group of people interested in helping? We also coordinate larger groups to do outdoor seasonal yard work.
