Thank you for your interest in opening your home and heart to an animal in need! Foster care providers are vital to assisting the animals most in need of special care. Community Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) recognizes this need and is working to build a dedicated force of foster care volunteers.
C.A.R.E. seeks foster homes for dogs.
Interested in fostering? C.A.R.E. foster parents must be 21 years old or older, have their own transportation and live in the North Shore area so animals can be brought to local vets for check-ups and introduced to potential adopters. All basic medical and supply expenses are covered by C.A.R.E. The foster period for the animal will depend greatly on the circumstances for the animal being in foster care. However, the average foster period is about 4 weeks.
