Mission Statement
The Peace Shrine is an abode of peace. It came into being to offer the teachings of liberation and unconditional love wherever there is suffering. We embrace all faiths. Our teachings are founded upon spontaneous realization that is beyond name, form, and ritual. When we awaken to the refuge of the tender heart, this is grace. Liberation in love is for all to experience, because love is truth. The temple offers a women's shelter, an animal shelter, prison library outreach, and hospital chaplaincy. Chintamani books also publishes spirituality and self-help books, kids books, and Eastern translations, as well as literary journal Lalitamba.
