Community Outreach Assistants motivate prospective blood donors, educate the public about the need for donations and the patients that these donations help. Volunteers assist at health fairs, community events, blood drives, churches, businesses and schools. Community outreach activities occur seven days a week all over the Austin and Central Texas area on an as needed basis.

Description
We Are Blood is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Founded in 1951. We Are Blood is the local, exclusive provider and guardian of the community blood supply for more than 39 medical facilities in a ten-county service area of Central Texas.
