NW Art Alliance needs your helping hands!
Get the feel of an art show from behind the scenes, learn some new skills and be part of a great and rewarding experience!
The NW Art Alliance is a non-profit 501c3 corporation which runs on volunteer superpowers.
November 6 - 10th, 2024
Here are some examples of how you can help keep Seattle's biggest indoor art and fine craft show running:
Pre-show - November 6 and 7
- Help set up the event get things in order for show time!
- Get some exercise: mark booth locations for the artist booths.
- Set up exterior signage advertising the show and location
- Welcome and register artists, assist them as needed during set up.
Show Time - November 8 - 10 Day Time
- Welcome patrons and help guide them to the artists
- Support Ticket Sale process.
- Problem solve: do whatever needs doing to keep things going as a general assistant
- Greet the patrons as they enter the show
- Booth sit artists booths for them so they can take lunch and bathroom breaks
- Assist with keeping the venue clean and tidy.
Post Show - November 10 Evening
- "Strike" the show which means to help us break down the event - actually quite a quick process but we always could use a few strong hands.
All of these tasks are a great opportunity to add to your resume.
A great way to support community service and volunteer commitments.
No experience needed and smiles will be handed out daily :)

Description
Formally Northwest Crafts Alliance, the group was founded by a group of artists in 1989 to produce a holiday art show. Reorganized as a 501(c) (3) non-profit in 2011, Northwest Art Alliance has become the heart of an expanding network of artists, art supporters, art organizations and art collectors. Like that first 'Best of the Northwest' Show, our current spring and fall shows feature the area's best makers of both fine art and American craft. Our mission is to nurture and promote the NW art and fine craft community. The NW Art Alliance provides artists with essential tools, education and exposure to help them succeed, and provides our area with access to a vibrant community of artists and craftspeople.
