ORGANIZATION: Women's Cancer Resource Center

The Help Desk is an In-person-only volunteering opportunity.

Answering phone, routing incoming calls, including fulfilling phone inquiries for information & referral requests to WCRC or community partner resources + any needed follow-up. On-site training provided.

General office assistance (filing, mailings, computer & internet work, and organizational tasks)

Reliability, punctuality and effective communication skills are essential for success in this position. Must have time for at least one of the shifts as listed.

Bi/multi-lingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • Minimum commitment of at least one three-hour shift per week, preferably for at least a six-month time period.
  • Excellent communication skills, facility with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams. Open to learn information & referral resources to effectively respond & direct clients & general public inquires to such resources. Good follow-up & attn to detail.
