"I just want a pair of shoes for my boy," said a mother in need who came to see us. "The soles on his tennis shoes are flopping, and he doesn't want to go to school because the kids laugh at him."
Children deserve to feel good when at school. Did you know that kids wearing flip flops or improperly fitting shoes have to sit out of PE? We help provide shoes and clothing so kids can fully participate in school activities and fit in with their peers.
Clothes Cabin is seeking individuals or groups to coordinate a drive to collect new or gently used shoes and clothing for children ages 0 - 18 years. Children's donation drives can be specific for shoes, clothing or both.
At Clothes Cabin, we provide free clothing and shoes to families in need. Most of our donations come in from individual donors giving away items they no longer need, and the quality we receive can vary greatly.

Our mission is that no person or family within our service area lacks the clothing they need to secure employment, maintain a healthy and hygienic life, and be socially accepted.
Description
Clothes Cabin provides free clothing, shoes, and household linens to low income individuals and families. Clothes Cabin also conducts a back to work program to provide steel-toed work boots to men who require them for employment and a free laundry service and showers to our homeless clients. The services offered here at Clothes Cabin are not offered by any other organization in the area. Our residents have no other resource dedicated to providing the services we offer without the burden of costs they just cannot bear. Clothes Cabin has removed as many barriers to these services as possible, desiring to help all people in need. In 2015, we served more than 1,800 families, with 60% of those served being children.
