Every Saturday from April 1st to November 18th, for the regular season, and every other Saturday during the winter season, December to March. There is an early shift and a late shift for greeting.
Greeters move throughout the market answering questions and directing customers to their favorite vendors. Greeters give market-vendors bathroom breaks, take pictures, and perform the hourly customer count. This volunteer role involves more interaction with customers and vendors than any other.

Description
History
In early 1997, a group of Northeast Portland neighbors sat around a table and put together a plan to create the Hollywood Farmers Market. In May, the market opened in the Washington Mutual parking lot with 10 vendors. Since that time the market has grown, moved and been sustained by even more wonderfully involved friends and neighbors. In 2000, we moved to our present location on NE Hancock Street between NE 44th and 45th Avenues. This location now comes alive on Saturdays throughout the year, with over 100 different vendors, community booths, musicians, and the absolute best volunteer crew ever!
