Main Season Volunteers needed Every Saturday, April 1st - November 18th, 7am -8am.
Starting the hour before market opens, set up volunteers help get the market ready for the day. This includes carrying things from our storage room up to the street. Pop up tents, weights, umbrellas, tables, chairs, signs and bins all get set up in this quick moving hour. Other tasks might include picking up trash and helping set up the information booth.
The ability to lift and walk with 20lbs is ideal. Children under 16 may volunteer with their parent or guardian.

Description
History
In early 1997, a group of Northeast Portland neighbors sat around a table and put together a plan to create the Hollywood Farmers Market. In May, the market opened in the Washington Mutual parking lot with 10 vendors. Since that time the market has grown, moved and been sustained by even more wonderfully involved friends and neighbors. In 2000, we moved to our present location on NE Hancock Street between NE 44th and 45th Avenues. This location now comes alive on Saturdays throughout the year, with over 100 different vendors, community booths, musicians, and the absolute best volunteer crew ever!
