We are looking for volunteers who can help us with the following tasks during our weekly food distributions:
Customer Service: Stock shelves and assist our clients with selecting food. Volunteers keep the stations stocked and ensure that everyone who visits our pantry for food assistance gets the help and compassion they need. Volunteers are currently need for the Saturday shift from 9:00am - 1:00 pm
Help unload our food delivery on Wednesday mornings from 8:15-9:15 am. - Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds. A great way to get your arm workout in.
Deliver food to homebound seniors in Euclid. Volunteers are needed on either Wednesdays or Saturdays, around 10:00 am (time is a bit flexible). Stop in at the Hunger Center, pick up 2-3 boxes of prepacked food, and deliver it to 2-3 seniors. Total time commitment is about 45 minutes. Must be 21, have a valid Ohio driver's license, and a working vehicle.
Maintenance: Help sweep up, mop the floor, empty trash and assist with basic cleaning at the end of our distributions. Usually around 12:30-1:30 on either Wednesdays or Saturdays.
