Have time on your hands? Like to organize things? Like to help kids and families? Familiar with office technology such as MS Office?
We need volunteers who can spend four hours once a week helping with clerical work in our president's office - filing, cataloging, data entry, editing text, etc. It's not glamorous but it makes a difference in the lives of kids and families.
First, we're a fun group to work with.
Second, we'll give you free DVDs.
Third, and most important, you are helping kids and families make good media decisions.

To teach children how to make good media choices and to enhance children's viewing experiences by making quality children's media more visible and more readily available.
Description
CQCM's KIDS FIRST! initiative evaluates and rates children's media - videotapes, CD-ROMs and web sites using a volunteer jury of more than 3300 adults and children. Adults are teachers, librarians, child development specialists or have a similar background. Children are from diverse backgrounds nationwide and are between the ages of infant to age 18.
