Volunteer for Street Engagement Team:
Engage at-risk young people on the streets, parks, spiritual meeting places, and common areas in the community. Refer community resources to young people from our pool of resources that may lead them to greater opportunities. Connect to the greater community in an effort to bring more people around to the S.E.T.'s point of view. Mentor young people in areas such as school, personal matters and in some cases spiritual growth.
Attend monthly planning sessions for Violence Prevention Consortium (VPC). Develop and initiate community service initiatives designed to reduce violence in the community.

This is a remote/virtual position however, the preferred candidate will live/work in the Chicagoland area.

AWOFINC is a community initiative that is designed to meet the needs of families who do not have the resources that are to attain the supplemental educational services that are needed to enhance the possibility of success for their children. For over two decades AWOFINC has addressed the critical educational, financial, and social needs of the families in Illinois.
