We are looking for volunteers to help keep our books "talking". Each Talking Book Machine issued to a patron of the library is serviced at the workshop in Denver. A team of volunteers is responsible for maintaining and repairing damaged Talking Book Machines for our library patrons.
Volunteers are provided with a well-equipped work room where they inspect and repair the machines. Technical manuals and parts lists are available along with specialized tools and parts that are provided by the library.

Our mission is to serve the blind and disabled readers in Colorado by providing books and magazines in large print, audio, or Braille format
Description
A free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides audio, Braille and large-print books and magazines. We have served readers in Colorado since 1931as a member of the network libraries in the National Library Service for the Blind - Library of Congress. CTBL received the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Library of the Year Award for 2017. CTBL was named the Library of Congress - National Library Service for the Blind and Disabled Library of the Year.
