Are you interested in working with a fun, diverse and very appreciative group of adults? If so, the Arlington Education and Employment Program (REEP) is seeking English as a Second Language (ESL) substitute teachers. We offer adult learners free ESL classes out of three community centers in Arlington, VA. Volunteers plan and teach about 1-3 classes per month. We ask for a commitment of 6 months. Classes are Monday through Thursday in the mornings and evenings. This is an excellent volunteer opportunity for those that have demanding work schedules. Training, teaching resources, and ongoing support are provided. No previous teaching experience is needed. Volunteering at REEP is a great way to meet people from other countries and cultures and learn more about the field of ESL.
