The March of Dimes is a national non-profit organization that advocates the health of mothers & babies. We have endorsed Proposition 29 which aims to reduce premature birth rate in California by
- helping pregnant smokers quit
- protecting women and children from secondhand smoke exposure
- preventing teens from ever starting to smoke.
We are holding a phone banking night & need volunteers anytime between 5:30 - 8:30 pm on May 3 0 th in the Mission Valley Area ! You do not have to stay for the entire 3 hours, any amount of your time is greatly appreciated !
Volunteers will be calling registered voters & urging them to vote yes on Prop29 ! If you want to meet new people, practice your speaking skills, & have the compassion to donate your time for the cause, sign up atwww.surveymonkey.com/s/modprop29phonebanking. Training on how to use the calling system technology will be provided !
