Enjoy the great outdoors of South Florida and share you love of nature! Help as a canoe volunteer with a variety of public and specialty canoe outings in our beautiful Everglades wetland preserve!

These canoe programs include school field trips, family outings, visiting camps and others. Programs vary from three to four hours (including setup/cleanup times). Outings are offered primarily in morning hours and occasionally in early evening/twilight hours.

You will assist as back up support with our guided canoe outings. Help with setup/breakdown and during the canoe outing. After the outing, you will assist with clean up and putting away materials and/or all equipment. You MUST be able to safely help LIFT canoes/kayaks (approximate weight 40+ lbs.) on and off their storage racks. On occasion, you may be required to tow another boat with struggling visitors. Minimum age: 18+ years old.
