Mission Statement

Back Alley Bikes' mission is to provide cycling education and services with a focus on youth development, sustainable practices, and community access.

Description

Back Alley Bikes is a bike-space that fosters adult and youth education about bicycling and bicycle repair and maintenance. We take used bikes, repair them, and put them back out into the world when they otherwise would've gone to a landfill. We offer adult repair education courses year-round, group rides in the summers for youth and adults (and sometimes the same ride for both) as well as volunteer opporutinites and the option for youth to earn a bike for free.
