Great opportunity to help critically ill children celebrate their birthdays! We are looking for a warm, kind person to help coordinate our established Birthday Blast Program. Since 2000, our Birthday Blast Program has presented each child in our program with a birthday gift. Every birthday is precious, but for the kids in our programs, celebrating a birthday is an especially happy occasion. Work with an experienced staff to help special kids in need.

Every year Casey Cares Foundation hosts our Annual Gala, The Casey Cares Foundation Golf Tournament, Casey Cares Rockfish Tournament, Casey Cares 5K and our Rock 'N' Roll Bash in September. Much of our funding comes from these five fun events and we can always use a little help planning them. We are looking for volunteers to work out of our office securing donations for decorations, the live and silent auctions, entertainment for the evening, and goodie bags for our guests. Creativity, energy, enthusiasm, and organization is needed, but the results are worth the effort. Last year's events brought in over $500,000 and lots of smiles thanks to our efforts. This is a fantastic opportunity for a volunteer thinking about going into non-profit event planning, wedding planning, or someone who just wants to help out and work with great people in the process.

We are proud that 95% of donations received support our programs, services, and fundrasing, while less than 5% is used for administrative purposes. That being said, we sure work hard to get in-kind donations for our childrens' programs and we could use some help. Whether it is gift certificates for a pizza pie, tickets for an amusement park, or a seven night cruise to auction for fundraising purposes, out volunteers work hard to secure all kinds of goods and services. Our volunteers work one or two days in the office each week during the hours of M-F, 9-5.

Children on extended hospital stays are in need of extra support. With the monotony of doctors' appointments and treatment, simple pleasures, like receiving a gift of comfy pajamas, can make a hospital more like home. Created in honor of a Casey Cares child, the Kami's Jammies Program provides thousands of pairs of pajamas to children in area hospitals every year. We are in need of volunteers that can help run the Kami's Jammies Program. From in-office work like recruiting folks to collect pajamas, getting shipments together, and nurturing existing donors to out-of-office work like attending PJ rolling events and speaking to groups about Kami's Jammies and Casey Cares, there is plenty to do to help this program grow!
