The City Wide Resident Council is to address needs and concerns of public housing residents in order to increase pride and involvement in community and empower residents to take action in their communities and in achieving personal goal related to self-sufficiency.

Description

The City Wide Resident Council of the City of St. Paul Minnesota (CWRC), established in 1977, is an organization of the elected representatives of five Resident Councils, representing households residing in public housing developments owned and operated by the Public Housing Agency of the City of Saint Paul (PHA). The CWRC addresses the needs and concerns of public housing residents, serves as a link between residents and PHA staff and as a liaison among individual site councils and involves residents in the governance of their communities.
