Cheerful Givers

The job was not too demanding, but it taught me valuable skills. I originally started working for them on Febraury 1, 2014 as an "online promoter". I was so glad that I got this opportunity because other places that I tried to applying to get a volunteer job or actual job always denied me or I never heard back from them. Karen Kitchel immediately let me began without any run around answers. I knew that I needed to do something more advanced than that to advance my resume & to make my time more useful. I started applying to volunteer jobs again. Within a month, I had to stop working for them. I discovered a researching job that Cheerful Givers offered. Once again, Karen Kitchel was sweet about it. She never talked down to me. She always let me knew how grateful she was for. i made an impact on them by discovering Sunstar who donated 12 dozen toothbrushes to them. I put this on my resume along with my education, and it had helped me to gain employment & get phone interviews.

I learned about Cheerful Givers from my wife, Nirmala, who has been actively involved as a Volunteer. Being an employee at Apple Inc., I was blessed with an opportunity to contribute to products like iPhone, iPad and Mac, which have deeply touched millions of lives world-wide. So I realized that I could contribute to Cheerful Givers with the benefits and efficiencies that technology has to offer. I've been involved in the design of the volunteer management database. It is said that volunteering gives one an opportunity to work in this world selflessly and donating to a noble cause brings imperishable virtue and merit. There can be very few things in life more enriching and purifying than this. Let us all join hands and use Cheerful Givers as an opportunity for our joy and self-growth.

Not using volunteers in full. Could have a lot of potential.

I started volunteering with Cheerful Givers recently. It is an unique and a fantastic organization to work with . I stay at Seattle and I am happy that I can volunteer from here .

Great organization to work with.

I applied through Volunteer Match in November 2009 and since then volunteering in the role of a Volunteer Manager. I was very happy to find something to my satisfaction and best part was I could work from home since I needed a computer and internet connection. I am so happy since I started volunteering because I interact with several volunteers daily & mentally it keeps me occupied since I am a home-maker. So this was a perfect opportunity for me to help & my husband also got involved. The best part of this organization is even though it is located in Minnesota, one can volunteer from any part of the country by being a part of Cheerful Givers. This is a great organization to volunteer with and am sure you will enjoy helping Cheerful Givers just for a day.
