We invite you to join us for Spring into Health:A Health, Fitness & Family Fun Festival, presented by the City of Los Angeles - Department of Recreation & Parks (Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center), the North Area Neighborhood Development Council (NANDC), and Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. The Spring into Health festival will take place on Saturday, April 23, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center located at 3916 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90062. The festival will feature a range of fun and engaging activities for the entire family including our Earth Day Celebration and Activities, Youth Spring Zone, Entertainment, Fitness & Health Demonstrations, Clinics, & Classes and so much more! The all festival activities begin at 10:00am.

This community event is designed to raise public awareness of local health & wellness resources, promote healthy lifestyles, and to give confidence to individuals seeking responsibility for their own health.
