Description

Hocking . Athens . Perry Community Action is a nonprofit corporation that develops, manages, and provides services and support to individuals and families who lack sufficient financial resources to meet their basic needs or to provide the quality of life they desire. Most services are funded through federal and state resources but are supplemented through donations, local levies, private grants, and fundraising efforts.

Agency services are directed primarily to income eligible residents in Hocking, Athens, and Perry counties in Ohio. One program, The Second Harvest Foodbank of Southeastern Ohio, makes wholesome reclaimed food products available to member feeding agencies in seven additional counties (Jackson, Vinton, Gallia, Meigs, Washington, Lawrence and Morgan.)
