Thousands of caring San Diego County Residents will lace up their running and walking shoes this Thanksgiving morning and head downtown for the 10th annual United Run for the Hungry 5K/10K Run/Walk. This run/walk continues to grow each year because of its great mix of ingredients: an awesome course starting at Petco Park and traveling through the Gaslamp and East Village, fun entertainment, tasty refreshments, and the cause. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the hungry in San Diego County through Foodmobile, a home-delivered meal program of Jewish Family Service, and the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. . Be a part of the action on Thanksgiving and show San Diego's hungry you care.
Don't want to run or walk? More than 100 volunteers are needed to help make United Run for the Hungry a success. Volunteers will help with registration, water stations, food stations, finish/start line, and more. Volunteers will receive a free race t-shirt. Large groups can register to volunteer together.
Minimum Age: without an adult - 15 years old; if accompanied by an adult - 5 years old
