A Buddy in Action
Being a Buddy can be the high point of TWO people's week!

We desire to provide 'Buddies' for children affected by disabilities during our one hour Small Groups for Kids program. Because we believe in 'main-streaming' our special needs children, extra support is needed to assist with participation, activities and transitions. A Buddy for a child affected by disabilities can go a long way to telling their families that they are treasured at New Harvest Church.

Mission Statement

New Harvest Church is a volunteer-based local fellowship, dedicated to serving Jesus Christ. It is who we are and what we do. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully sharing God’s grace in its various forms -- 1 Peter 4:10

"Worshiping Christ, Transforming Lives, Building Community"

Description

New Harvest Church grew out of the vision of our Founding Pastor Mitch Ribera. He was uprooted from his comfortable staff position at Northwest Church in Fresno and was, with the blessing of Pastor Bufe Karraker, called to launch a new church in Clovis.
Sponsored by the Baptist General Conference (recently renamed Converge Worldwide) in Sept. of 2000, Pastor Mitch participated in "church planter" training in Wyoming, and officially established the core group of volunteers on January 1, 2001. Since
launching the first public worship Sunday service on Palm Sunday of that year, Pastor Mitch’s life mission continues to be "to lead and shepherd my family and
God's family in becoming healthy, Christ-centered teams." The Church’s passion remains the cultivation of healthy families. Of utmost importance to our entire leadership team, volunteers and professionals alike, we get to share our lives and build the church with an extraordinary group of individuals who have experienced the fullness of God's unwavering grace!
