Barakat is a non-profit organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts that works to improve education and health in vulnerable communities in Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Special focus is placed on reaching marginalized members of society, such as girls and women, who do not traditionally have access to quality education and healthcare. By working with local partners, Barakat ensures sustainable and long-term solutions to community needs.
