Mission Statement
Operation Safety 91 (OS91) is a 501(c)3 non profit Organization that exists to honor and appreciate America's 1st Responders, active, retired and veteran: Firefighters, EMS, Law Enforcment and Military. We honor them by having an annual Tribute Event in Orlando, FL and we protect them by getting Psalm 91 into their hands.
We want to raise public awareness about the risk Responders sustain in order to protect, rescue and defend private citizens, and to educate children to the fact that responders are their friends, ready to help them.
Description
Operation Safety 91 (OS91) is a Christian faith-based organization whose goal is to promote honor and appreciation of Responders and what they do and to make available to them God's Covenant of Protection, Psalm 91. Currently we are partnered with a Foundation to make available to Responders, free of charge, Psalm 91 books through their respective Chaplains, and we have an infrastructure of Chaplains across the U.S. already doing this. Our immediate goal for 2010 is to supplement these free resources with a plastic credit-card sized Psalm 91 Prayer Card to keep with them at all times to pray for their personal protection.
Our long range goal is also to honor chosen fallen Responders by making scholarships available for their children. We also plan on partnering with "Building Homes For Heroes", using 10% of our donations to help build or retrofit homes for chosen disabled Responders and their families.
