ORGANIZATION: UlsterCorps

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Monday January 18th, 2010, 11am-5pm
35 Van Wagner, Willow, NY (7.2 miles west on 212 from Woodstock)

Volunteers of all ages needed to assist with a Mid Winter Cleaning at Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary. We’ll be cleaning our two biggest barns, the pig barn and the goat and sheep barn. This would mean as well as cleaning out all the poop we would also wipe all the surfaces, get rid of cobwebs, clean all the bowls and mend some gaps in the sidings. Of course there would be some hanging out with the residents of these and other barns. A general sprucing up of the building. 10-15 volunteers would be ideal.

The event is very family friendly - but please let us know the number of adults and children in your group. All children must be supervised by an adult. We have many other days for general volunteering and always can use the hands (and the critters always appreciate getting some extra hugs and attention and belly rubs) so we hope you will join us - just get in touch! 679.5955 or info@woodstocksanctuary.org.
