The Adult Rehabilitaton Center, a Salvation Army program for men recovering from alcohol and/or drug addition, needs volunteers to help with the Thursday night meal service. Up to ten volunteers are needed each Thursday evening to enable men in the program to attend meetings in lieu of helping serve food to others in the program. Volunteers are needed from 4:30 - 9 pm if possible,
It is hoped that volunteers can work the entire time, but if that isn't possible, a shorter period can be arranged with ARC staff members. Interested persons should contact Don Stratmann via email: stratman@us.ibm.com

Mission Statement

Inspired by our Christian mission, we offer the resources and support to lift up our neighbors in crisis. Description

The Salvation Army’s national brand strategy and distinct identifiable message is "Doing The Most Good". Moreover, it is a promise the organization makes to its contributors, clients, associates, officers and employees. The idea of Doing the Most Good originated from Evangeline Booth, daughter of William Booth, the founder of The Salvation Army.

She said:

"There is no reward equal to that of doing the most good to the most people in the most need."

The Salvation Army pledges to Do The Most Good with contributions of money, time and resources, evidenced in that 82 cents of every dollar donated are directly allocated to services that assist people in need.

We are Doing The Most Good with your contributions of time, money and resources.
