Honor the Dream...
Come remember the life and message of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at The Ministerial Alliance of Springfield and Vicinity’s annual Commemorative March and Memorial Service, taking place in downtown Springfield.
Sunday, January 17
The memorial service will feature a performance by the Voices in Praise Choir at UIS and a keynote address by Dr. Clarice Ford, Executive Director of the UIS Diversity Center.
If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to volunteer@uis.edu. We will be leaving from the PAC teardrop (lower level entrance) at 2:30 PM and expect to return by 5:30 PM.

- Increase awareness of our university's civic and social responsibilities
- Foster and support campus-community partnerships
- Continually expand our programs to make service an inseparable part of the experiences of every UIS community member.
