Help us plant 104 trees in Downtown Long Beach!
Volunteers will register on the north side of The Promenade adjacent to The Cellar which is located at 201 E. Broadway. Start your day with coffee, juice and a pastry as teams are dispatched to different areas of the Downtown to plant trees.
Two hour validated parking is provided at 133 Promenade Walk. For a map go to http://www.downtownlongbeach.org/page.php?id+95.
You may want to drive depending on where your tree planting is located. Tree planting boundaries are Ocean Boulevard on the south, 10th Street on the north, 710 Freeway on the west and Alamitos on the west.
Drinking water, shovels, brooms and gloves will be provided.

The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) is a non-profit organization operating on behalf of the tenants and commercial property owners of the Business Improvement District. It is dedicated to the management, marketing, security, maintenance, advocacy, economic and community development of the assessment districts in cooperation with the City of Long Beach and the private sector.
Description
The Downtown Long Beach Associates (DLBA) supports the business community of Downtown Long Beach through a variety of activities and services, including special event production.
Throughout the course of the year, DLBA produces and/or sponsors many high profile events, such as the Long Beach Bicycle Festival, Tecate Thunder Thursday, Powerfest Thursday, an outdoor Holiday Ice Rink and many more.
