Title: Summer Camp Aide (High School Volunteers)

Compensation: This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity. Parking is reimbursed on a monthly basis. Parking costs $2 per 4 hours or $4 all day.
Summer Camp Aide
This volunteer position is open to rising 9 th grade high school students (a minimum age of 14). Volunteers will assist the staff with all camp activities: games and crafts, snacks/lunch, and visits to the galleries or behind-the-scenes tours. Volunteers will be working with rising 1 st - 6 th graders attending the Frazier International History Museum's week-long summer camps.
The camps are divided into two age groups: 1 st through 3 rd graders and 4 th through 6 th graders.
Summer Camp Aides will work from 8:30-4:30 Monday - Friday. Aides must be available for all five days of a camp session, although they may apply to work more than one session.
2009 Summer Camp Sessions are:
1st through 3rd grades

"Westward Ho!" June 22-26 "

4th through 6th grades
"Time Travelers" June 22-26
"Putting Science to Work!" July 13-17

The Frazier Museum is the only institution to have a partnership with the British Royal Armouries, making it the only museum of its kind in the world.
