The volunteer will function as member of the VNSNY Choice Adult Day Care Center reporting to the Director and Activities Coordinator. Tasks will include:
- Assisting with translating activities for the elderly at the center.
- Assisting with translating guest speaker presentations for the elderly
- Assisting participants with activities
- Assisting with telephone communication with the seniors
Position available weekdays from 10AM to 3PM.
Days and hours flexible. Position is considered "on-going" (min.commitment 6 months).

Description
The Visiting Nurse Service of New York provides a wide array of home health care and community-based services. These include: skilled nursing care, physical, speech and occupational therapy, social work services, elder care consultation and case management, long term care, home care for persons with HIV/Aids, and home health aide services.
