This is a fantastic opportunity for adults interested in hands-on volunteer work with our clients!
We need at least two experienced volunteers to provide a recreational activity for our adult psychiatric patients once a week on Sundays.
The planned activity could include games, arts & crafts, music, dance and other interests. The right person(s) for this volunteer job would enjoy working with adult mental patients (18+) of different cultures and abilities. The activity volunteer would be responsible for planning and leading the activity from start to finish.
NOAH is a state-operated psychiatric hospital for children, adolescents, and adults with severe mental illness. We are located in the Uptown area of the city on 17 beautiful park-like acres with plenty of free, secure parking.
