The Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) Ambassador Program is looking for people who would like to help travelers from all over the world!
The Ambassador Program was founded in 1998 to assist travelers in locating such things as arrival and departure gates, telephones, baggage claim, and ticketing areas. Ambassadors provide assistance in a friendly, timely, and courteous manner that promotes a more enjoyable experience for all of our airport passengers. Ambassadors also inform management of valuable customer feedback concerning areas for improvement of our Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) facilities and services through surveys and questionairres.
Today our Ambassadors number well over fifty members and provide over 700 hours of volunteer service each month. Our Ambassadors are folks who volunteer to give back to the community, engage in regular exercise, and partake in fellowship and fun with our travelers. Each semester several local university students also serve as Ambassadors because they can fulfill up to 30 hours of their school's community service requirement for graduation by volunteering at Jacksonville International Airport (JAX).
