Help us create the welcoming environment needed to make sure our neighbors feel comfortable while visiting VEAP! Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun.
Open Opportunities:
- Help connect visitors to our services by setting up food appointments over the phone!
- Assist visitors who are receiving food assistance with check-in and help ensure they have a positive experience while at VEAP!
VEAP is open Monday - Friday from 8 - 5 p.m. Shifts are on-site and are typically three hours in length. All volunteers ages 18 or older must complete a criminal background check prior to volunteering.

Description
VEAP is a basic needs and social services organization whose programs promote access to healthy foods, stable housing and transportation. VEAP’s programs are designed to address a particular need and when used together provide hope and can help avoid a financial crisis such as loss of housing, transportation or employment. Whether the hardship is from a disability, job transition, or the financial and physical stresses of aging, VEAP has been helping our neighbors in need for over 40 years in Bloomington, Richfield, and Edina.
