Purpose : The Volunteer Recruitment Team works to identify and recruit new volunteers for Habitat for Humanity in the Halton and Mississauga regions.
We are seeking volunteers to join us in recruiting local businesses to help our cause. This is a great opportunity for recent grads to gain valuable experience in the fields of Business, Recruiting & Human Resources.
Locations : Burlington Office - 1800 Appleby Line, Unit 13 Burlington, Ontario
Mississauga Office - 4500 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario
Position Duties
Identifying potential volunteer opportunities in the Halton/Mississauga Region
Contacting and collaborating with local business owners to attract new volunteers
Dropping off various recruitment materials to the businesses
Organizing and maintaining recruitment spreadsheet and map
Recruiting volunteers in a variety of forms (door-to-door, online, phone, etc.)
Qualifications and Skills
The ability to work well in a team
Outgoing, Personable, Creative
Strong oral and written skills
Comfortable on phone/computer (Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google docs)
Excellent organizational skills
