Help provide fresh and healthy food to your neighbors! Help us create a positive shopping experience for all by:
- Assisting with the shopping process
- Fulfilling food orders
- Helping shoppers load their groceries into their vehicles
- Sorting through food donations so we can ensure only the best items make it onto our shelves
Our opportunities do not require experience, include training, and are of course fun!
VEAP is open Monday - Friday from 8 - 5 p.m. Shifts are on-site and are typically three hours in length. All volunteers ages 18 or older must complete a criminal background check prior to volunteering. Kids ages 9 - 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

Description
VEAP is a basic needs and social services organization whose programs promote access to healthy foods, stable housing and transportation. VEAP’s programs are designed to address a particular need and when used together provide hope and can help avoid a financial crisis such as loss of housing, transportation or employment. Whether the hardship is from a disability, job transition, or the financial and physical stresses of aging, VEAP has been helping our neighbors in need for over 40 years in Bloomington, Richfield, and Edina.
